All classes are taught in English, except for Spanish language classes. What schools have been represented in the past in the MSSG program? We recently got students from Mount Holyoke College, Reed College, Hamilton College and Wellesley College. Although Guanajuato is in general a very safe and lively town and has a friendly, spirited nightlife, as in any city, there are some precautions that it is always advisable to take when moving around in a place you don’t know. To deal with any accidents or health issues that may arise during class hours, CIMAT offers the services of an on-site nurse who is available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each working day. The downtown area of Guanajuato is fairly compact, with most accommodations within a 20-minute walk of the main square, Guanajuato University, and the city’s primary social hubs.
