To deal with any accidents or health issues that may arise during class hours, CIMAT offers the services of an on-site nurse who is available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each working day.

The nurse is charged with providing basic health care for students whether in class situations or while they are on the CIMAT premises. This includes emergency first aid assistance, treatment of cuts and minor lesions, and administration of non-prescription medications designed to alleviate certain commonly-recognized symptoms.

In the event of more serious injuries or symptoms, the nurse will provide sufficient care in order to prepare the patient for transfer to a health center where more complete treatment will be provided.

Remember that a comprehensive international health insurance that is valid in Mexico at least for the duration of your stay is mandatory.
